| Gümüş Martı Larus michahellis
Two large white-headed gulls, much larger than the Mediterranean and Black-headed gulls. They were harassing Coots in the area where locals feed bread to the birds. Possibly an Armenian gull but I'm pretty sure they are Yellow-Legged Gull.

Saw a group of 5, a group of 7, and the later a group on 12 that was probably composed of the same birds from the previous groups. All groups were in flight but close enough to see the color in the neck. One group flew near a group of Gray Herons and the difference was easily apparently. While they share the flying neck position with the Gray Heron, the Purple Heron was less sturdy in appearance and noticeably smaller in addition to the obvious difference in color.
